Danielle Metz, FCI Dublin, is serving three life sentences for conspiracy to distribute five kilograms of cocaine. Her story is typical of the countless women who have been caught up by the war on drugs because of their relationships with men and receive disproportionately severe sentences because they have no "information" to sell. Metz continues to try and fight her sentence and to maintain the bonds with her children although they live far away.
